I’ve been getting these really weird headaches over the past week (At least 3 times a day - sporadically, for the past 7 days).  Usually occur when I make a rapid head movement, or stand up too suddenly (but not every time).  It’s like a very sharp and very sudden pain in the direct center of my forehead, lasts only about a second at most and then is gone.  (I’ve been reading up and I think the term is ‘ice pick headaches’).

However, I can still do things like work out abs and core, involving a lot of bending and moving between a lowered and raised position, and not have it happen at all.  And it doesn’t affect any of my everyday functions: I read fine, I can operate a vehicle, I am thinking normally, I have a normal center of balance; it’s just irritating.

I may also be having some difficulty with concentration, but I’ve been acting like such a hypochondriac about it that I’m searching too closely for things to be abnormal, and feel like I’m starting to make it up.  Today at the very least was better than yesterday, and this weekend was so much fun that I didn’t notice anything other than the occasional sharp pain.

On the other hand, I haven’t been getting enough sleep lately.  It could also be due to stress or extraneous factors in addition to that.  I don’t know.  It seems very out of the blue.  I did have some blunt force to my head btwn snowboarding and work early in January, but it seems like a long time for it to develop for a concussion.

Maybe I should go see a doctor?  And I hate admitting that there’s a problem…  But it’s certainly bizarre, starting to worry me, and I don’t know if it’s going to resolve itself on it’s own or not.  (Maybe I’ll give it another couple of days…..)
